Lots of sunshine and little wind greeted the Second Annual Easter Bonnet Parade held Easter Sunday on Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo.
The inspiration for the parade came from a similar event in New York City. About 150 people walked in this year?s event sponsored by the Elmwood Village Association. The parade also featured an Easter egg hunt and a Bonnet contest, with prizes awarded for:
? Most Springlike/Easter Bonnet
? Tallest Bonnet
? Buffalo/WNY Themed Bonnet
? Most Creative Bonnet
? Best Group/Team Display of Bonnets
? Best Family Display of Bonnets
